  1. Day Trip Hanoi Street Food Tour
    • Our guide will pick you up directly from the hotel at around 5pm and start walking through the maze of bustling streets that make up Hanoi’s Old Quarter. On the way, our guide will explain the food sights along the way as well as pointed other little tidbits of information. Our first stop is “Banh Cuon” at a local eatery where we will have a chance to watch the skilled chefs demonstrating how this tasty dish is put together.
    • Continuing into the atmospheric heart of the Old Quarter walking to Ha Noi’s largest covered market, Dong Xuan. Along the perimeter of the market, dozens of street hawkers sell a staggering variety of produce from live seafood to exotic fruits and spices. Your expert English-speaking local guide will give you an insight into the intricacies and traditions of Vietnamese food culture including details on ingredients and historical backgrounds of popular northern dishes. Our second snack stop is at outdoor barbeque stalls on Ta Hien Street. We sit down with the Hanoi locals and sample various meat, vegetable and bread specialties that are flame grilled over hot coals for extra flavor. We then wander from Ta Hien to Nguyen Huu Huan to experience Banh Tom (Shrimp cake) which is served with sweet and sour fish sauce, green papaya and carrot slices. Final specialties food today is Banh Goi (Pillowed shaped cake), a very typical food of Ha Noi people. Like most cakes in Viet Nam, “ Banh Goi” is not baked but deep fried to create a charming yellow pastry skin, crispy and fragrant. The sweet salty cake is also served with some fresh herb such as lettuce, coriander to reduce its oily taste and raise guest’s appetite. The tour ends in a beautiful café shop on the roof top of a building where we have great coffee and enjoy Ha Noi Old Quarter’s view by night.
