Here you will visit the ancient capital city of Hoa Lu and wander the two temples that remain at the site; dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, heroes and dynastic founders from the 10th Century. From Hoa Lu you will take a motorcycle or car for the journey to Tam Coc, known as the Ha Long Bay-on-land, to explore the rich traditions and daily life of the local village people. You will pay a visit to the Bich Dong (Green Pearl) Pagoda – built in the 15th Century – followed by lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch you’re only requirement is to sit back, relax and marvel at the spectacular scenery as you are taken on a small boat and rowed through the rice paddies and mountain ranges of the Hoa Long River including the stunning caves of Hang Cai, Hang Hai and Hang Ba. Following your river journey you will board your vehicle for the return trip to Ha Noi, arriving back at your hotel at approximately 5pm.
