2 Days Mai Chau Cycling Tour

This is an intermediate adventure cycling tour in the North of Vietnam, on about 120km on the saddle of a good road condition. Experience spectacular and scenic view along the rice paddies, mountains, rivers, valleys and villages, with homestay at the Thai people on their traditional house on stilts.

Day 1: Ha Noi – Hoa Binh – Mai Chau (L, D) (160km)

Leave Hanoi on our support vehicle, to Hoa Binh for our starting point, this really depends on how fit you are so we can choose the best terrain that suite you, 30 km before Hoa Binh town, and 50 km before Mai Chau valley (this is a mountain challenge). After dinner you will enjoy a traditional dance with locals and drink Ruou Can, a special local rice wine. Overnight in local people’s house – that is a new feelings because what is prepared that the living conditions are different from the ones you are accustomed to at home. However, mattresses, blankets and mosquito-nets are present for you.

Day 2: Mai Chau – Ha Noi (B, L) (160 km)

Brekkie and ride about 40 km on small trails around Thai and Muong villages. Lunch break in Mai Chau, Late afternoon we drive by bus to Ha Noi. Arrive Hanoi around 5.30 pm.

End Arrangements.

Includes: Private support vehicles, English speaking guide, bike rental, accommodation in homestay, meals as indicated, entrance fees, water & snacks whilst riding, daily bottle of mineral water & wet towel.
